• Question: You have said you are interested i a particular video camera, and have posted a suggested one in your description, but even with all available add-ons, the total cost comes to just under £300. You make no metion of how you will distribute the further £200 of prize money. Can you give some indication on this matter please.

      Hi Squit – stuff breaks really easily in the jungle. It’s really wet and humid and mould gets everywhere, causing damage to electronic equipment. So there is a danger the camera will break. If I speak to the manufacturer I can get a main camera and a backup camera and some of the extras for under £500. This would mean I would have a high chance of being able to film for the next couple of years and get lots of footage to show you guys! I would use any remaining money then to put together DVDs for each of the participating schools in the competition, so that you can see the results directly yourself! Hopefully this won’t cost too much to do though, as you can edit videos on your home computer these days.
