      Hi Ellen,

I decided I wanted to do cancer research during my 3rd year at Uni. It was when my granny got cancer. She was extremely ill and she got chemo but it made her very ill and she passed away. I found it really hard because I wanted to help and I felt like my family was depending on me but there was nothing I could do. So I decided to go into cancer research, so that I could do something meaningful and try to help other people…
