The first one (Philosopher’s Stone) closely followed by the Goblet of Fire (cos the ending is so sad and it’s also the one where you realise that Ron and Hermione fancy each other).
I haven’t seen any of the films. But i did read all the books. I think they were all very good and especially how the whole story unfolded so well across all seven volumes. (It’s clear that JK Rowling had it all planned out from the beginning.)
The grand finale was very good. But i think the Prisoner of Azkaban was the most exciting book.
I liked the first one. It’s nice that Harry finds out he’s not just an unwanted nephew/cousin but is special to some people. He finds people who really like him, and something he’s good at. I think that’s something that appeals to lots of people.
