I’m not sure I have a favorite. I have pets, and of them I like my dog Snuggles best. She’s very…snuggley. But other types of animals I appreciate because they’re part of nature and it’s cool how nature all fits together. I don’t particularly like mosquitoes, but I like bats because they eat the mosquitoes. I don’t really like spiders, especially when they try to crawl on me, but I like to look at those close up pictures of insects that makes them look like aliens. It’s cool because they look so different from other types of animals that we’re used to looking at. I like to watch the Discovery channel and all their specials about different types of animals. What’s your favorite ?

I think my favourite animal is homo sapiens. It’s a remarkable animal that has developed language and culture, breathtaking art and astonishing technology. Homo sapiens are capable of amazing altruism – and individuals or groups will often go to great lengths to care for each other. But paradoxically homo sapiens can also be extremely cruel. In fact one of the most puzzling characteristics of this animal is that it can be capable of causing such damage to the very planet on which it evolved, and on which it is completely dependent, for life.

Apes and monkey are cool because they are so similar to us in so many ways.
But I think the puffin is the coolest animal.. It can fly, it can swim, it can burrow underground (puffins nest in burrows). It looks cool and can catch dozens of fish simultaneously.

Oh and they often sound like they are laughing.. I probably would too if i was that multi-talented

That’s a difficult question but in all seriousness, I’d have to choose the octopus. They have two eyes, 4 pairs of legs, they have no skeleton and can fit in all kinds of funny shapes and tiny boxes, some of them can camoflage, some of them can squirt ink, they can jet quickly through water, they are extremely intelligent, they have 3 hearts, suction cups… Octopuses are just plain weird!
