      That’s a really good question!

I think awareness is the number 1 priority. I have to be aware of all the risks of every chemical I use and I need to know what safety equipment I need to wear to use them. I also need to be aware of what other people are doing in the lab! We’re always rushing around and it would be easy to bump into each other if we weren’t careful. We also have to be aware of visitors! We get a lot of visitors to the university and when you give them tours of the lab, you need to keep them safe and protected too. You also need to make sure they don’t touch anything dangerous!
