I am sure there are some good arguments in favor of this (more daylight during the part of the day when people are awake) But there are also quite a few problems. Just look around at all the machines that have a clock in them, phones, computers, nuclear power stations. Currently most of those systems know about our daylight savings rules but if we change the rules then every single one of those clocks would have to be reprogrammed.. And with the world increasingly networked together, it wouldn’t just be all our computers that needed to know the new rules but millions of other computers around the world that communicated with british systems.

So I would leave things the way they are for now.

i’d rather we stuck with just one hour! i hate it in the winter when you go to work in the morning and its still dark and when you leave work, its dark again!! it makes me so sad! but im happy now cos its spring time so i’m getting to see a bit of sunshine again 🙂 🙂 🙂
