well my research is all about finding a blood test to help doctors diagnose cancer in patients quickly. The reason im doing this is because a person can have cancer for years before it is diagnosed because there can be lots of different symptoms and the person can look healthy from the outside. Once a tumour is found, it takes 4 weeks to get biopsy results to find out whether it is cancer or not, and this is too long! Cancer is difficult to treat as it reaches the later stages as it grows and spreads so quickly! So I want to help doctors catch it early!
