• Question: What do you do in your spare time

      I’ve just moved to Berlin. So a lot of my time at the moment is spent trying to learn German and exploring my new city. I also occasionally try to write novels and webcomics. Like this one

      My partner said “Hah – what spare time” and it’s true that I don’t have much spare time. But that’s because I’m very lucky that my job is – pretty much – my life, so I don’t work 9 to 5 then go home and stop thinking about my work. However – I do do other things apart from work! Although my two sons have both left home I love spending time with them – when my eldest son is home we like to go and see movies and both love Science Fiction, so the latest films we saw together were Tron II and Inception (both brilliant).

      I also love music and listen to music all the time – all kinds, classical, jazz and blues, rock and electronica. I really like going to see live music and where I live, in Bristol, we’re lucky that there is amazing music going on all the time. My favourite places in Bristol are The Old Duke (for jazz and blues) and St George’s. I also love to play the piano – but really need to spend more time practising!

      Hi there,

      Well I don’t have a lot of spare time! But yeah, I do lots of things. I ride a motorbike and with motorbikes you have to clean them and maintain them a lot. I help out at a motorcycle training scheme, to help people learn to ride motorbikes. I’ve made lots of friends at uni and we try to meet up every friday and do something like go for dinner, go bowling, cinema, bingo! This weekend me and my friends are going up north to stay in a lodge and go kayaking, it’s going to be amazing! I also have a puppy, so I take him out for walks twice a day, and I have chickens which need cleaned out at the weekend too. I’m also a Snowy Owl at the Brownies on a thursday night!

      Funnily enough, I don’t have a TV in my house so I have to go to my friends house if I want to watch something!

      Hi

      I spend a lot of time with my friends. I go cycling, go to the gym, play tennis in summer. I listen to music a lot, and read a lot top relax. I have friends round to my house for dinner, and also go out with them to listen to bands or just wonder around together, maybe diong some photography, which I really love.
