hi – I like a lot of different stuff. I’ve started cycling quite a lot recently. I’ve got a fairly old road bike which I ride in to university from home. But I also have done some longer rides, like last summer I rode from London to Winchester as a day trip, which was quite knackering.

I like listening to music a lot. I’m lucky to be in London, so there’s always stuff on. Last week a friend took me to see some Moroccan music, but the Brixton academy is quite near me. I’ve seen Lenny Kravitz, the Doves and the prodigy there….

I go out a lot with my friends, we all like a good curry!

Let’s see, I live in a little house in Edinburgh with a puppy called Banjo and a smelly boyfriend. We have a garden and chickens and I like growing things in the summer like tomatoes and chillies and peas.

I love my little motorcycle that I ride to work but you have to look after bikes by cleaning them and oiling parts and replacing bits that get worn, and that’s quite fun, I like getting my hands dirty!

I like getting out and about, up the hills and to the beach and stuff. I’m from a little coastal town so it’s nice to get back to the seaside sometimes!

I like rock climbing, I learnt to climb on red sandstone cliffs near where I used to live, it was cool!

I love music and am pretty much never without my ipod! I make playlists based on moods e.g. happy, chilled out, energetic, angry!

I’m also a Snowy Owl at the Brownies on a Thursday night. Brownies is fun, kind of like having 20 little sisters!!

I don’t have much spare time. But that’s because I’m very lucky that my job is – pretty much – my life, so I don’t work 9 to 5 then go home and stop thinking about my work. However – I do do other things apart from work! Although my two sons have both left home I love spending time with them – when my eldest son is home we like to go and see movies and both love Science Fiction, so the latest films we saw together were Tron II and Inception (both brilliant).

I also love music and listen to music all the time – all kinds, classical, jazz and blues, rock and electronica. I really like going to see live music and where I live, in Bristol, we’re lucky that there is amazing music going on all the time. My favourite places in Bristol are The Old Duke (for jazz and blues) and St George’s. I also love to play the piano – but really need to spend more time practising!

I’ve just moved to Berlin. So a lot of my time at the moment is spent trying to learn German and exploring my new city. I also occasionally try to write novels and webcomics. Like this one

I also do Tai Chi which is a martial art where you move very slowly.
oh and i spend too much time surfing the internet.
