• Question: I see you do things about cancer how many are there do you know if so what are they and do you think they will ever find a cure for cancer??

      There are over 200 different types of cancer!! This is why it is so difficult to cure! In the Uk the most dangerous types of cancer are Lung, Prosate, Bowel and Breast cancer.

      I don’t know if they will ever find a cure for all these different types of cancer. But I think prevention is better than cure – maybe we’ll find a way to stop people getting cancer in the first place… Already sceientists have developed a vaccine against cervical cancer, so maybe they can make a vaccine against all types? I think its really great to be doing research in this field and advances are being made all the time, its really exciting. In the past 20 years the cancer survival rates have doubled, which is huge! And its all down to the hardworking scientists, doctors and nurses in our country.
