About 50 people work in the Bristol Robotics Lab. About half are researchers and students and the other half lecturers and professors like me. It’s a wonderful group of people who are really smart and friendly and – although they are all doing different projects – really support and help each other.

In my lab there are 3 people, there is me, a scottish girl called Heather and a french guy called Nico. Heather is working on making anti-tumour drugs from a chemical which is found in marine sponges! And Nico is making an anti-cancer drug which is based on a natural chemical in your body, his idea is that it will act as a mimic.

Hi – I work in an office in LSE and at the Zoo. There are five of us in the Zoo office, and in the LSE there’s normally around 18 of us in the same big office
