I’m not on the computer so much. I check my emails in the morning when I arrive in work and then I spend the rest of my day in the lab. I write up my experiments by hand in my lab book and the only other thing I use the computer for is for making powerpoint presentations and any formal reports I have to hand in.
Too long probably – my laptop computer is used for almost everything I do in my work. I think I must spend about 5 hours a day on my computer. Alot of that time is spent reading and answering emails. Another chunk of time is spent either reviewing or writing research papers, or research grants. And a smaller chunk of time is spent blogging or on Twitter.
