One of my supervisors at the Institue of Zoology told me is was great fun, and that you guys would ask lots of interesting questions, and that’s why I applied. I am very impressed by all the interest and great questions so far!

Someone mentioned it on twitter. It sounded interesting so followed the link to the site. It is such a fanastic idea that i signed up straight away and was very pleased to be selected to take part..I know that lot more scientists wanted to take part than Sophie and the moderators could cope with.

I saw an advert on something called the Edinburgh Beltane, Beacon for Public Engagement. It is a blog for science communication activities in my area and it’s a good way of finding new ways to meet people, talk about science and get volunteers for events. When I saw the ad I thought it was a really unusual way to communicate science and I thought it would be a good challenge!!
