  Yes, I once got a 2nd degree burn on my face! I had an itchy chin in the lab and without thinking I rubbed my chin… and then I realised I was wearing gloves and I had been using trifluoroacetic acid, so I took my gloves off and ran over to the sink and washed my face with water… But it didn’t help, I ended up with a HUGE brown scab on my whole chin and I had to go to the chemistry ball with it, it was bad!! I still have a bit of a scar on my chin, but trust me I learned my lesson – never touch face whilst wearing gloves in the lab!!!!!!
