      Yes – I have worked in Sumatra and Sulawesi in Indonesia, and have spent 6 months in Gabon measuring loooaaads of trees (literally thousands).

      the only place that is kind of abroad that i’ve got to go to with work is Belfast! but in the summer i have been invited to speak at a 6 day conference in sorrento in italy and i can’t wait! we’re getting to go and visit pompeii while we are there and you have to fly to naples and then get a boat to sorrento so its going to feel like a real holiday, except i have to work!! at least the hotel im staying in has a pool though!!
