i have 4 chickens called maggie, edna, vera and wilma. i have an ancient guinea pig called boris who lives in my living room and a black curly labradoodle puppy called banjo! banjo and boris love each other, banjo likes licking boris’ face and boris just wants to sleep next to banjo cos he is so soft and cuddly! i look after all my pets, i get up at 6 am every day and collect the eggs and feed the chickens wuth banjo, then i take banjo for a walk then feed him and boris their breakfast. then i go to work and banjo goes next door to play with my neighbors dog all day. then i come home and banjo and i have dinner together and then we go out for a walk before bedtime! i love my pets and they are really easy to look after. and having a dog is great because i can take him round to my family and friends houses when i go to visit them, or take him to the pub with me when im going out! babjo likes the pub because everyone gives him attention and sneaks him a few peanuts and things! he also really likes beer! but i only let him have a little bit…

Having pets doesn’t get in the way of my research, its good to have some relaxing time and I like animals so it makes me happy 🙂

No pets at the moment- exactly as you say I couldn’t look after them when I travel!
