• Question: Do you enjoy travelling around the world, or does it get boring?

      Yes, I love travelling, and meeting new people, vsiting new places. However the actual time spent in airports and on planes can get boring!

      Also, when I am away I do miss my friends and family and life in the UK.

      In fact the travelling part can get boring (especially in airports – where I am right now!) – but the best part is spending time with other scientists and engineers in other countries. That’s not boring at all. 🙂

      Waiting in airports and on aeroplanes can be boring but going to new places is always good fun.

      I don’t get to do a lot of travelling, so when i do i find it really exciting!! I love flying and getting the ferry and it always makes me feel kind of special when i get asked to go and speak at a conference somewhere and present my research!
