• Question: could dinosaurs ever come back?

      i don’t think so. the jurassic park theory doesn’t stand up in reality because the dna is simply far too decayed to clone and make successful copies of dinosaurs. and it’s not likely that dinosaurs will evolve again either… which is a shame because i like stegsauruses. 🙂

      Hey – well maybe they are still with us – most paleontologists think that dinosaurs are the ancestors of birds!

      There are other animals like crocodiles which were around at the same time as dinosaurs, whcih is fascinating to imagine. Plus there are ancient species alive today in the ocean like the Coelacanth which was thought to have gone extinct tens of millions of years ago!

      In terms of re-engineering T. rex, I don’t think so with our current technology, or the poverty of the DNA samples!
