      No, cancer cannot be passed to different individuals in the same way as a cold or a flu bug. Cancer is when something goes wrong with your own DNA and cells, it is not contagious.

      However, there is a virus out there that causes two types of cancer. It destroys cells and can cause cancer in the cervix and the liver. But there is a vaccine against this virus which prevents people getting cervical or liver cancer.
