  No, but on two occasions I have been roared at by tigers in the jungle. I couldn’t see them, but on each occasion they were probably 10-20 metres away. That is pretty scary I can tell you. Once I was on my own. I only had my jungle knife for protection, and honestly, I was shaking afterwards.
